Hangover
Location - Indiranagar, Bangalore | Area - 2,800 sqft | Year - 2022
The site was a floor tucked away at ground level below an already existing F&B space with very less natural light seeping into the space. It had a shared entryway and only a small portion of the space was completely outdoor. There was an already existing functional kitchen which was catering to the existing outlet.
Based on the site conditions we took an approach of creating a fresh concept with light colour tones and pastels, it was a color scheme that we had never tried before and we used quite a few technique driven processes to create ferro cement arches finished with a super surface and a venetian terrazzo flooring.

We created an extended outdoor space to make the entry vista feel larger and also to ensure better entry of natural light into the space during the day time. The bar was designed to be the main highlight and is positioned right at the centre of the outdoor and indoor space. We tried to bring in a bit of tropical landscape wherever possible.
Concealed ambient light seeping through ferro cement curved projections and arches add a certain air of lightness to the dusty rose and teal colour scheme. The doorways, furniture and light fixtures have a contoured look that helps in giving it a fresh yet casual feel with the terrazzo floor adding to it.
